WHAT IS REIKI?
What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy healing modality that originated in Japan. Facilitated through gentle, non-manipulative touch, it helps balance our nervous system, engage our inner resources, and move us towards a place of wellness.
What happens during a typical session?
We begin with an in-depth intake & discussion to understand where you're feeling out of balance.
Depending on what we discover we explore how imbalances are showing up in the body with somatic work.

During a Reiki session I use a gentle hands-on approach to channel a flow of pure energy through your body to restore a state of calm and balance.
​The Reiki energy flows peacefully through your body like a gentle waterfall, clearing any blockage to relieve physical and emotional tension.
​
You leave the session feeling deeply relaxed, clear and restored.
​
Because the Reiki energy is a higher vibration, your mind+body begins to also shift into a higher vibratory state, helping you make better choices and create real change.

How often should I come?
​Chances are the imbalances you're experiencing didn't happen overnight. Like any holistic modality, Reiki treats the cause vs. symptoms. This can take time to unwind. In order to experience the transformative effect of this work, I recommend 4-6 follow-up sessions within an 8-week period.
I offer bundles of 4, 6 & 8 sessions at discounted rates.

​What does Reiki treat?
Reiki sessions treat and balance the whole person. As a result clients often report release or relief from unwanted symptoms, as well as an increase in overall feelings of peace, well-being, letting go, freedom, support, connection, balance and release.
​
There are no known contraindications for Reiki, meaning, there are no known reasons that a Reiki session should be avoided because of the potential to cause harm. It is generally regarded as a safe, non-invasive practice that does not compete with other interventions.
